cichlids are very complicated and need large tanks blu. if you're up for the challenge and have the space to house them properly, go for it :)

There are many different types of cichlids. Apistogrammas are cichlids, and if you have soft water you could easily keep a pair of certain species in a smaller tank.

I think people get hung up on the idea of all cichlids being big, brutish fish when this is not necessarily the case.

hm....looks like it'll be the platys, but maybe the cherry barbs....maybe some orange or yellow molly?

O.o anyway we did get our shop last night the report was in today and yay we got our 0. was a little worried since thing were slow but besides the time everything else rocked that's two now. woot.

So Sakura, any ideas on this disease? Here is what I replied to you-

Yup. Like little tiny transleuscent mobile hairs. This girl was on the bottom of the sorority dominance ladder and was picked on quite a bit, but not to the point where I felt I had to yank her. Salt definatly seems to be helping. She does not seem affected by them but I can't let it progress. The reason I asked here is because I can not find anything that sounds similar anywhere...
