Morning Yuuie.

YIKES. Fishy, AQ salt shouldn't do that to an angelfish, even a juvie. Something else has to be up with him. :/

Aw, Tiki, I'm sorry about Koga. Another kitchen victim?

EDIT: Fishy, you can see if he'll eat but I doubt it right now.

It was Kosher salt. No additives in it. So....idk. Maybe the 10 mins was too much for him. The ones that were dipped for 5 mins seem totally okay. Like nothing ever happened :/

Kosher salt should be fine as long as it was non iodized. That's the reason we have to go buy AQ salt, because often regular household salts are iodized and have anti-caking agents in them. But I honestly can't see how kosher salt could do this. :/

Thanks Yuuie.

I totally agree Sakura. Atleast he's doing slightly better. Doesn't seem to want to eat, then again, I'm not sure if he saw the food. I guess i should eat and stop starving myself. I've got my mind on him too much.

Yup, take care of yourself too, Fishy. There's nothing more you can do for him right now but wait.

Dear printer,

I hate you. That is all.

Sincerely, Sakura

Do you see any other visible signs on him?
No, nothing. All I noticed was he was floating in the corner for 2 days in a row,so i scooped him into a cup for a water change and thats when I noticed he was acting like he had SBD and his one gill was open so wide. Next morning he was gone. It wasn't that long between changes - less then a week for sure.

Yup :( At least the red female is active again but the other female, i put her in a cup and looks fine, I put her bac into tank and she clamps up. I added medicine to the tank, hopefully I didnt kill anything. Snails seem fine - im thinking the plecos are too but I never actually SEE them so who knows. And the butterball one is still a butterball. Eats and swims but big, like a baloon. A little pineconned but not too bad and its just in the area where the bulge is.

Sorry to hear about Koga :( I know it might be a touchy subject, but can you breifly explain what happened in the kitchen? I missed it.

Kosher salt is usually just non-iodized salt. I bought it once before I bought aq salt.
