My poor fish are not happy with me. I ran out of blackworms during the week and can't get some until tomorrow. They are not appreciating the frozen food or attempts at feeding them pellets.

I had to raid my poor white worm culture to get some of them to eat.

Fussy fish.

Do certain wild species eat pellets? What type of species and what type of pellet?

(Obviously pellets wouldn't be fed exclusively...)

Well my persephone adults that I raised will eat pellets like good fish. My rutilans adults that I raised know what pellets are but do not prefer to eat them. All my bigger mouthbrooders have always taken pellets quite readily (they will eat anything I stick in the tank) but the rest of my smaller species tend not to be into pellets.

I have long since given up that battle so they just get to live on frozen and live foods.

Forgot to say it is NLS small fish formula and then slightly larger pellets for the mouthbrooders.

Laki, is ambulia a noxious weed here in the states or in Canada? If it's the states, that explains why I can't find it anywhere. Why are the best plants considered noxious weeds?!?!

I'm assuming Smoke's isn't cigarettes? I hope?

Matt . . . I don't know what to tell you. I'll check with the Admin.

Silverfang, tonsilitis? OUCH! I hate sore throats. :( I hope you feel better soon and without the need for surgery.

LBF, you're so good to feed your fish live foods though. I wish I could but I don't think I'd be able to keep up with any cultures. Only live food I can culture are snails for the puffers and that was purely by accident. o.O

Well I have white worms and grindals that I culture. I then have to buy four serves off live blackworms every month. I am thinking of setting up a proper container for them in our rumpus and then buying 500g-1kg of blackworms and seeing if I can't keep them outside of the fridge.

Yes, it's considered noxious in the States :/ Too bad I can't sneak you some. It would grow in almost anything from what I have been reading.

Smoke's is a poutine restaraunt. I freakin' love poutine. It was so good. Now I feel a little sick, all worth it.

These dogs are so cuddly that it makes me sick. All they want to do is drool on me and scratch me.

Smoke's is the greasiest stuff ever. Like the fat drips through the box. O.o
