If you stain the water quite dark with IAL and keep the substrate dark, you should see Min colour up quite a lot. Coccina are a nice, rich burgundy colour when they are comfortable.

There is a reason this group of species is often known as 'clarets'.

Thanks guys. It was so hard to do. Bawled about it. I wish there was a way to convey to him that I was helping and not to worry. I miss Bowser. He was so fiesty.

Then at work a mouse was stuck on a glue trap and was squeaking. I couldn't find oil to release him and when the manager came I told him about it, hoping he would courtesy kill it instead of let it suffer. He put it outside.

Then on my way home 2 people were very angrily shouting at their dog which escaped through the door. Like, I wouldn't go back to them if they were shouting at me like that. Poor dog. I hope they didn't hurt him.

So much sadness.

Yes I know it was the right thing :( Just breaks my heart.

Matt your rescue will hopefully fill in to be a beautiful boy. He's looking pretty bad now. He'll turn around.

Bekah, I could send you IAL if the shipping to you wasn't more than what I paid for them lol Check out aquaticmagic on ebay. They usually sell them with free shipping. I paid total like 5$ for 50-60.
