Oh, no! I'm sorry for all the losses. :( Hopefully Reuban will make it.

I am about finished with my 3.5 gallon.. The nitrites are high and nitrates are showing. About time to get that HMPK, and also get some plants.

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

I'm sorry for all the losses, too. It sucks losing fish or any pet.

Big storm is about to come through here. Our poor cat was outside on the front porch wanting to come in because it is really windy.

Today I started the process of mounting some butterflies and dragonflies. Captured, killed, positioned, and began drying. I'm kinda excited because two of the seven I got done in total could turn out really nice (a green dragonfly and some sort of orange butterfly that I forgot the name of). I've always liked bugs (well, most of them) and this could turn into a nice little side hobby.

I so sorry there is so much death going on :(

I should probably go to sleep now. I'm so tired.

How do you kill them Matt?? I always wondered how bugs were perfectly killed in those display things.

Oh, Bekah.. I found a little snail toy at work yesterday it looks like the kind you like but it's probably based off a sea snail. Either way, I can send it to you if you want. There's only one and I instantly thought who would appreciate it more, some kid? Or Bekah!

Oh you put them in a jar with a cotton ball with some rubbing/isopropyl alcohol and the fumes knock them out quite quickly. The more "professional" displays use a different chemical that works faster but it's hard to get and super expensive.
