It's hard because when people see her hackling up and barking at their dogs they think she is being aggressive and trying to attack their dogs. However, it's because she is absolutely terrified and I think it's a sort of 'the best offense is a good defense'.
Everything with her has to be super positive 'this isn't a big deal' type training. Her breeder donked her on the head once when she was getting excited by these two dogs playing and it made things about a hundred times worse that day. The next week she was great because I kept everything happy.
