He always looks greasy, particularly on this white patch of fur on his chest. Last time we were at the vet she gave him a brush while she was checking his thyroid levels and it made me feel like the worst owner.

This is why I like short hair animals. Our oriental and Siamese only need like a brush once a week and they are good.

I get out a brush, Ashes runs to get her face brushed, and brushed and brushed... and the fur worn off her. But I try to do anything past her neck and she tries to eat my hand

Yeah Bandit is like a chainsaw when he gets riled up. I have to be quick with my reflexes as when he bites, he means it. I tried combing his stomach the other week and when he started kicking his back legs I thought he was going to de-glove my hand.

I know why so many dogs are scared of cats haha

Our now deceased cat Belle, was white with brown markings. She had this one brown patch on her stomach that we called her 'tickle spot'. When she was feeling frisky she would roll over and 'invite' you to scratch her stomach.

Being kids we could never resist and of course you would end up with your hand ensnared in what felt like a bear trap.

I think only my mum could scratch the tickle spot without being maimed.

No, I never got the purple streak in my hair.
Today was a lovely day starting with our toilet getting stopped up. Brand new house and we have a plumbing problem. Then we go to the grocery store, buy our groceries and go to the bank in the store to open up an account. We park the cart right next to us and someone moves it! We didn't know what the heck happened to it. No one saw anything then someone said they saw it down the aisle. I went down there with some guy and he asks me what I had in my cart. I told him and he asked me for my receipt. Bunch of jerks said they didn't see anything.
