An autopsy is done to determine the cause of death in a member of the species performing the autopsy. A necropsy is when it's done on a member of a species not belonging to the species of the conductor of the procedure. There are differences in how they're accomplished when the species is significantly different from a human.

If I'm correct and Sakura can tell you for sure, Weird Al had female parts internally and male parts externally.

Yup, DQ had it right. He was all male on the outside, female on the inside. He lived up to his name. But he was also the sweetest rat I've ever had.

Ah, thanks for the explanation, Fishy and Oli! So it could only be an autopsy if another rat performed it. Got it.
