If I tried to describe or explain every kind of dream I have or tried to describe the hallucinations (dear heavens, I HOPE they're just hallucinations) that I have during sleep paralysis, you guys would lock me up in a padded cell and throw away the key.

But I will say I have the dreams where you're walking and you never seem to get anywhere.

I have more of the falling and waking up in a jumpy spasm, speaking of waking up, just did, on the couch, with Shelly whining at my head to be let out. But not upstairs, nononono she made me go all the way downstairs just to let her out. Back to bed... on the couch.

You probably have astigmatism. This is a physiological curve in your eye which causes you to either see things better at a distance or up cloae- but not both (unless you stretch your eyes).. Go get your eyes checked! Vision is so precious. Take care of it.

Don't. THOSE are annoying. Same thing with the trying to read a book dreams where the whole dream is you trying to read and re-read the same few lines of a book but your dream cannot remember the sequence of words so it's always different but you never complete it.

Sleep paralysis (called "Old Hags" here if you really want to throw your doctor for a loop an start calling them that) is a very scary thing. I think it happens when your conscious mind begins to come out of the REM stage of sleep and you get stuck in a sort of scary dream while you feel totally conscious. Have you read any psychology articles on SP, Sakura? There are many causes and I think you mentioned a few before.

I haven't had a dream that I've remembered in like a month. Guess I'm just too tired to remember ...

Most annoying dreams list:

1)You can't scream or talk
2)Right before you die you wake up (I had nightmares about an almost death car accident I went through)
3)Falling and then waking up
4)Walking but not getting anywhere
5)Really hard to control the dream or make yourself go right or left, etc.

...LOL

Mild tonsil stones. Wish I hadn't looked at them in the mirror with a light because now I want to dig at them.

Sakura, do you have a lot of stress in your daily life?
I've found that when I have stressful day I get weird or scary dreams.

Maybe try some all natural treatments for your sleep problems?
