I use firefox, internet explorer never seems to work right for me. everyone in my house (minus my sister) love firefox.

Random~when firefox was new it was in the same building that my stepdad worked in so I used to walk by them all the time lol

IE9 works fine on my Vista PC. I find it's better than all the other browsers simply because of it's speed and simplicity.

Never had a problem with speed with my browsers, didn't know that was an issue with people. Though, I do have fast internet as well.

I used to hate Internet Explorer. The previous versions were slow, glitchy, and over-filled with useless tools and features. I stuck to Google Chrome those days.

Then IE9 came out, so I gave it a try. I have to say it's really good, a huge step up from the previous versions.

I tried it out and wasn't impressed. It was a buggy mess when I tried to log in to my work email (Microsoft Outlook Web Access... which you'd naturally infer would work with a Microsoft browser) to send out a recruitment exam that I needed to turn in ASAP to be eligible for an interview for a new job. It took me forever and I nearly tore my hair out.

Jessiefish,

Yes, email is IE 9 ultimate fail... as well as web sites you have to log into. Anything you have to jump firewalls and security and vpns and corporate (and other networks)... full of fail!

Not everyone will have these problems... it takes the right combination of 'incompatibles' to fail. The problem is, as everyone is tightening their internet exposure, this is going to happen more often.

I have no idea what version of IE I have but it seems to stop working every once in awhile, for no reason.

;-; so sad that people dislike IE, I've had nothing but good experiences with it, and I don't see how any other browser is better.

Dramaqueen, if you don't already have it, I would try downloading IE9 :) It's the newest version, with alot of fixes.
