I think a lot of it is instinct. Maybe put a bit of his formula on the tip and stick his nose nearby and he'll probably figure it out quickly.

He opened his eyes tonight!! :D
lols now hes so active, running around his little critter keeper like a crazy madman.. guess hes excited that he finally found out what everything looked like XD

and now that ive sprinkled in some nuts, grains, raisins, crackers, and dried bananas, he doesnt wanna eat formula anymore.. guess he prefers REAL food now? its only been a few hours lol. i made sure to put both water and formula in there though, just in case.

Aww, he's growing up so fast. You should be so proud of yourself, Masshiimarro, you've done so well with the little fella.

ah well while we were taking care of him.... i have decided on a name: Napoleon. i think its fitting, since we know hes going to smaller than the average mouse and hes conquered all odds as well

Very fitting. He sounds like a good Napoleon. And I really don't think you'll need to worry about him being too wild to be a pet. The first dog was wild too, before it was domesticated. And the first cat, also. I think Napoleon only knows you and his kritter keeper so he's happy.
