I'm glad you're finally able to close your mouth. It's a step in the right direction.

Me too... maybe she'll finally stop talking ;)

But really, congrats on the mouth closing thing. Another thing that might be a little wierd at first... you could use a blender and turn vegitables into a paste. add a bit of water or juice to thin it a little and you can make a healthy shake. I don't remember it, but apparently the only thing my parents could get me to eat as a child was carrot and onion shakes.

Carrot and... onion?

I actually couldn't talk before, so now that I can close my mouth, I'll be talking more, LOL! Before I was just silent all day unless I really had to talk to somebody for some reason.

It's just so weird, not using your jaw for a week and a half, and now I'm finally being able to start to, I am quickly realizing how fast you lose strength/muscle. It's so difficult for me to chew, I work on it more every day. I still can't eat a lot of my favorite things... But, fruit, smoothies, and soft foods (and soup!) are making me verrryyy happy. :D

Any more ideas for the next few days?!

you can make your own baby food, pureed anything! :)

You can actually have stew and just puree it, I did that with my kids when they were younger (stopped because the #2 diaper change after that one had me gagging). TMI YES!

Yes, carrots and onions. Apparently they would also throw in beats occasionally. I was an odd kid I guess.

Oh my gosh... that's disgusting! I could never do washable diapers (cloth diapers) ever in my life because of that reason. I cannot handle that!! YUCK! Well, I might change my mind if my wallet starts to hurt... LOL! I'll just have to remember, NO STEW!

Well I assume you have outgrown the diaper stage... if you go to the bathroom it would be much easier on you. ;)
