I'll stay here with you fishman. I just did a 50% water change on my 45gal so I need some sit down rest time.

Lol I used a pitcher to run back and forth between my tank and my bathroom. I also just realised I havn't done the 100% water change in my QT for Alpha... sucks cause he literally JUST made a bubble nest like 2 minutes ago. gotta kill all his work.

I want a big tank so bad but i'm worried about the 50% water change... Most of my tanks are pretty far from the sink.

Yea, however its a 45gal, once I get it cycled I wont really have to do any water changes... I'll add a pitcher full every other day or something to keep the water level up.

You people are crazy...

I use a siphon and a 5 gallon bucket :3 My 10 gallon takes me 5 minutes to do, LOL! My 20 gallon took about that long as well. For a 45 you'd make 4 trips for half the tank water :P It does slosh, so if you're near the top, I would suggest a lid!

Buckets are like 3$ and their lids like 1-2$. Siphon depends on make, model, and size, but mine was 8$.

On my way to work, can chat for like 30 mins-ish...

Kaida- CT Female 2.5 Gal.
Julep- HMPK Male 2.5 Gal.
Fandango-HM Male 10 Gal.

Yea Laughing, I know there is an easier way.. I just havent bought the stuff yet. I would only need it for a few more days until the tank cycles, I dont see it as a lucrative purchase.
