Hubby picked the first, I think he wants me to make him yet another hat.

Not sure what I'll do with the second, I'm just super excited to finally have licorice twist yarn!! I've been drooling over licorice twist for awhile now.

Haha, at least your hubby wears what you make. I've offered to make my dad scarves, hats, gloves . . . not interested. And I know better than to ask my bro if he wants anything.

You also just reminded me it's been months since I visited my yarn shop and I have a gift card there. Oooo.

I spin yarn, dye yarn and fiber, and knit.

Right now I'm working on some Bee Mice Elf Fiber in a chain ply.

Knitting wise, a scrappy log cabin blanket that I've been working on and off on for a year - and I just finished a tank top for my daughter.

I am open to trades for anyone wanting 'the good stuff' lol

My website is http://www.cajunfiberco.com, I don't have anything up for sale now, but I do have stock. I just haven't had the time to list yet.

My Rav name is cajunfiberco

I spin with a hand spindle but believe me, what I end up spinning is nothing to brag about. More like bury in the backyard in the dead of night.

nooo keep it! then you get to compare your future work to your beginnings. Believe me I wanted to toss some of mine but I'm actually using it up now in my scrappy blanket!

That yarn is beautiful, Angelic! I was going to make my sister-in-law a scarf one Christmas until my brother told me she doesn't like anything that doesn't have a tag on it. *rolls eyes*

*reluctantly puts down shovel* Well, I guess you do have a point. I hope I get proficient enough at this so there's a difference to compare, lol. It's the drafting that I really need to practice, I draft out so thin it snaps. I think I end up focusing so much on keeping the spin going I stop paying attention to the draft.

Thank you Drama!
I would much rather have something hand made personally. *shrug*

I'd love to try to spin yarn! Heck, I think anything to do with yarn I'd like to do. I want to try dying it too.

I'd love to dye yarn but I'm pretty sure the kitchen is off-limits for that. ^_^ I'd have to get a huge soup pot for dyeing and I'm not sure where I'd store that, what with all the fish things taking up my available storage space. I might try koolaid dyeing though.

DQ, snag a tag off something expensive-looking at a thrift store and sew that on.
