So, here I am knitting up a pair of red socks for my little guy. He's very excited! I skipped doing a gauge swatch so I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope that they will fit or be a little too big!
I only do a swatch when I need a sweater.

Leeniex, do you still hand spin and dye yarn? I wanted some from you. Can you post a link to your website?

I haven't spun since my friend's two crazy children messed up my wheel last spring.

I've been neglecting my shop, I really should take care of that today. So many listings have expired.

That sucks!
When I get yarn $$ again, I'm going to come to you. You do custom dying yes?

Do you still have yarn in stock? What weight do you recommend for a neck scarf? I also need to know how much to order to have enough for a scarf.

A scarf can be any weight. The chunkier, the faster it will knit/crochet up.
Your yardage will be based on how wide and long you want it.
Are you on ravelry? You should find some scarf patterns and see how many yards they recommend.

I have some nice soft purple chunky yarn (170 yards). Should be enough for a scarf.

I'm going through my expired listings now to see what I still have. I dipped into my stash to knit some baby stuff. ;)
