Nat, uhm, yeah, it's a little similar. Like with k2tog, you know how you are combining two stitches into one? In a crochet decrease, you hold back the last loop of one stitch, crochet the next stitch and crochet the last loop of the previous stitch with the last loop of the current stitch together. Errr, okay, it's a lot more confusing to describe it than it is to show it. @_@ There aren't any videos that show sc/dc decreasing?

Way easier than knitting IMHO.

For me, crochet goes faster but I also love the versatility of knitting. I can actually crochet sweaters/clothing but I can't knit a sweater to save my life.

When I first started I was rather dangerous to be around because I was so uncoordinated with the two needles. Those sharp points were flailing everywhere. I'm a little safer now . . . I think.

I enjoy knitting much more. I feel like I have more control over my project (if that makes sense) and it's easier on my wrists.

I love to knit with dpn's, much easier to me than those long needles.

Leeniex, teach me your secrets. Dpns elude me still. They fall out and I can't keep them organized as I knit.

I had 14" long straight needles for awhile and they are a pain! I just recently bought a lot of 18 sets of 10" bamboo straight needles. I hope they are easier to deal with. I know I won't use them as much as my circs, but it will be nice to have something easier to use!

Yeah, 14" is just awkward and that's what I learned on. I actually learned to knit standing up because I couldn't sit with those 14" straights, they poked me everywhere!
