I finished a hat yesterday, started a fingerless mitt and screwed up at the end so I had to frog it, worked on the shawl more. Today I worked on the shawl and made a hat (which I was not happy about how it turned out). I was thinking about working on another couple of rows on the shawl before I put the knitting down for the night, but I'm too scared to. Today has been "everything go wrong day" so I didn't want to mess up the shawl.

I had one of those days yesterday. :P It was my sister's birthday and our nephews screwed it up big time. :(

8 month - Betta -VT-male- Peach
9 month - Golden Retriever -Female- Dixie
7 year old - Cinnamon Cockatiel -Female- Ladybird
And a black mystery snail named, Bon-Bon Hoss

To do list:
1. Save money
2. Ask Parents
3. Buy all the Bettas in PetSmart.

One of the mittens I'm working on for my BF for Christmas. They're going to have a piece attached and worked around the top...kinda like "convertible mittens". xD

Scars- I'm so sorry everything's going wrong for you today :( I hope it gets better! :)

I'm literally vibrating from the energy drink I had earlier today. Ahhhh final exams, how I love thee. D:

Just because I don't type with candy and rainbows doesn't mean I'm being mean.
My opinions are based on research and experience. Ask for help!

Third times the charm. I finally figured out that poorly written fingerless glove pattern. I made one and I'll make another tomorrow. After that, I'll be finding a new pattern for future fingerless mitts.

I thought I'd share my first piece. I just started last night, and finished it today. It's a little coin purse. I'm very proud of myself. I haven't even attempted to crochet since I was about 12ish. I was doing it wrong, so I was always frustrated. Now that my mom should me the PROPER way to do it, I'm having a blast. Here are my progress photos and the finished product.

Thank you, Sakura. =) I plan to give it to my mom for Christmas. She already has a coin purse, but it might be fun for her to have more options.

It's really cute. It'd be a good gift to make for little girls too. They'd feel so grown up with their own handmade coin purse. You've definitely got the hang of crochet now. :)
