I took a short break and I'm back to knitting again. I had some left over yarn from the shawl and I'm making a drop stitch cowl for my mom's b-day (Feb.). It's coming along nicely so far.

I finished the mittens for my boy for Christmas, and also made some nice thick cabled headbands that cover the ears. :D
I'm now making a Dalmation stuffy for my sister, a Bulldog one for the other sister, a scarf for my boyfriend's mom, and a poncho for me. Huzzah for knitting!~ :D
Pics will be up sometime today. xD

Just because I don't type with candy and rainbows doesn't mean I'm being mean.
My opinions are based on research and experience. Ask for help!

It will take a long time for me to finish the scarf I'm knitting when I knit it at a rate of 4 rows every other week. >.> Why is it so hard for me to just sit down a knit for a few hours?

I'm so knitting this cowl so slowly. LOL! I don't have to have it done until Feb. 20th and I'm pretty much done now, I just want to finish off my yarn.

Poor hands

That's why I stick with bulky yarn... I can make a scarf and a hat in a few hours. Plus they are cozy and warm!

I made another set... I wanted a light colored one and I decided to stick with the pattern I made up. The flower is a bit too bulky this time so I might end up fixing it later.

Also made a headband with leftover yarn... only left with a couple of feet of the grey once I was finished... very close

Can I have permission to use that epithet too? I love it. Sweet god mother in pickle juice, hahaha.

I found my new favorite knitting stitch. Sand/Dot Stitch.

even # of stitches
1 - Knit
2 - K1, P1
3 - Knit
4 - P1, K1

One side is Sand stitch, the other side is Dot stitch so this stitch is reversible too. It does curl a bit so not totally perfect for scarves but close.
