I've been knitting a few years. It also helps that I go to a knitting group once a week and I have back up if I ever need it.

Ok so this is so weird but I can do a double crochet SO much evenly than doing a single or slip stitch !!! Weird right ? When i do a single or slip stitch my hands feel like they are in the way and somehow it feels better doing a double stitch. Idk why but at least I can do it a lot better than before when I was doing the other stitches. I'm just practicing on scrap yarn right now before I start the actual scarf that I want to make.

I love double crochet, too! It's my favorite stitch. Okay, so I'm halfway done with my baby afghan! I'm doing 15 rows per color. The stupid thing stretched out from 40 inches long to 49 inches, so I have to rethink the size. LOL

The weight of the yarn. It just stretches the more you add on to it.

I've been crocheting for 2 or 3 weeks. I'm a VERY VERY fast learner when it comes to artistic things. I am shocked at how fast I picked it up. So is my mom who has been crocheting for years. It's Bernat Premium yarn, btw.
