Now, I cannot paint to save my life, but pass a pen or pencil and I sure can do pretty good... My one teacher saw a drawing I did, she said it looked like a real picture... so she got me to draw her dog (she has the only copy, there is no digital) so I did. She surprised me, when she said her husband wanted me to have 50 dollars O_O it was a standard 8 by 10.... nothing big. lol
Oh.My.Goodness!!! O.o I've been doing 9 x 12s. They're my fav to work on. ;) A dog loving friend of mine asked me to do a portrait of her two collie sheltie mixes and she gave me a drawing book. And of course I'm treasuring every moment of it. ;)

Haha oh for sure!! Yeah I did a drawing of my friend, who right now is up in Australia, and he refuses to let me send it to him xD "no you should keep it for a portfolio." >< Well, I can't get into any colleges anyways, but I've already been offered by random people to do tattoos, drawings, sculptures... o_O small town is best in my mind lol

LOL! ;D I give all mine to my dad and he keeps them in a portofolio. Unless someone asks for a drawing of a pet or something I do it. :) Our neighbor had a dog who passed away and drew him. It wasn't one of my best (brindle dog) but they liked it.

You actually can do dogs very very well...

MaggieLynn, I took art each year of highschool, where we had to have an art show... a bunch of us were offered to be bought from >< my sculpture Olga was sold, a couple drawings... this one girl did awesome paintings and drawings and one painting was offered for I think was a few hundred, but she declined

I never got a chance to take art in highschool until my senior year and because my stupid counselor f'ed up my schedule and so I could only get into a ceramics class and not drawing and painting, in middle school I took art every year, but in my freshmen year of high school I was in culinary 1 and I ended up loving it so I took that instead of art. But if you think of it food can be edible art. Im probably going to take as many art classes through my college and the local tech school in town (I travel to a different town for school) the art class i am in is through the tech school in town. For once everything in my life seems to be awsome lol I get to pursue both my dreams
