Dwarf Puffer tank!

Here's little Huey. I just redid his tank today. I need a couple more plants since I lost some of my crypt. I'm finally getting a handle on the ridiculous algae. Lots of work though. He's not even hiding. Anyway, it needs more filling out with plants.

Dwarfs don't need that. They don't eat the shells. They suck the snails right out of them. You can't see it in that pic but that tank is a snail shell graveyard. :)

Do they require live foods exclusively or will frozen brine shrimp and krill do for a staple?

A good staple is Frozen Bloodworms. And a pond snail 2-3 days a week.

^ What Diablo said. You can also get them to take mysis shrimp sometimes but it's iffy. Bloodworms, Huey goes crazy for. He sucks them up like spaghetti!

You can see the algae was CRAZY!!!
