Yep. They come over to eat the grass. I don't know why they don't just stay on the hill, they've got way more grass there...
Our friends who run a wildlife rehab centre have joeys and baby wombats all over their house and property. They brought a wombat baby over one day. I'll have a hunt for some pictures, if you like. :)

Life.

Can't help it! Whenever I meet American tourists they always ask about drop bears.

Plenty more things capable of killing you down here though. A spider smaller than a nickel, a snake that doesn't slither away but would rather bite you until you stop moving, crocodiles that just love to hug and roll around, heck even our cute little magpies will gouge your eyes out! LOL

I like our snakes too, they think they're so tough they can kill electricity. All 50,000 volts of it.

AWW! Too cute! A little joey! Thank goodness they're legal here. I can't wait for my own pair.

Australia is crazy... doesn't it house all the top 10 poisonous snakes?

@Laughing: :D No such thing as a poisonous snake ...But venomous snakes, yes, Australia houses quite a few of those!

I like the red and the white faced/ring tail ones! But the basic greys are cute, too!

What's the difference...?
