Actually, if you click on the New York Times link and read that story, Jack wasn't well-fed at all but quite emaciated. He was rushed to the vet hospital and put on a feeding tube, as well as being diagnosed with fatty liver disease. But this story is incredible in so many ways. I mean for one, how does a cat escape at an airport? Two, how the heck did he get up into the ceiling? *glances at ceiling, does head count of cats*

Cats are able to squeeze into a lot of small spaces. Any access way into plumbing or electrical left open? In goes kitty. Poor kitty. They didn't mention that in the happy article.

Vaygirl, yeah, I liked the happy article a lot better. That is one lucky kitty though.

My cats are too fat to squeeze into small spaces, haha. Best they can manage is cupboards and Amazon.com shipping boxes.

One of my cats went up into the rafters in the garage today and wouldn't come down so I guess I can see the problem with Jack.
