You've inspired me. I started Eragon again last night. I wish I didn't dislike Chris Paolini on principle. :(

I love reading old children's books from my youth. Rascal by Sterling North, The Good Master and The Singing Tree both by Kate Seredy, 101 Dalmatians by Dodie Smith . . . sometimes I just need a break from cynical adult books.

I am currently reading "The Rosetta Key" by William Dietrich. It is the second book in a series. I am enjoying the series, it is very adventure filled and put together well. However, it is NOT a book for the younger crowd. The hero is very... passionate, for lack of a better term. Haha.
Also, it is kind of a book for guys. Not that chicks can't read it and enjoy it (I'm a chick). It is not for girly-girls at least.

Remember that the tank your fish lives in is his or her's whole world. Ask yourself this question, and answer it honestly: would you choose to live there?

Yep. A bunch of my friends love them so they let me borrow all the books. I thought I should catch up before the movie comes out.

I'm loving it so far!

Because he got published by his parents rather than on merit of his writing. I don't hate his books, but they aren't the best. Mostly it's jealousy. I want my parents to be publishers. :p
