Looking at that very overcrowded tank makes my head hurt. This is not a case of slight overstocking (ex: a small fish or two too many in a 10 or 20 gal), this is just plain wrong.

I can almost understand if she got them small and they grew very large, but someone had to have told her that goldfish will get very big and she would need a bigger tank. How old is this girl?

That is the most terrible example of a bad fish environment I've ever seen. That's about 70 gallons worth of fish living in a .5 gallon space. :(

Tanks- 55 gal(in progress)-Common pleco, Angels, lemon and rummynose tetra, blue rams; 29 gal planted- rasboras, corys, otos, clown plec, shrimp; 10 gal- juvenile goldfish; 6 gal planted- betta

Other Pets-Maggie(Tricolor Paint Mare),
Lily(Sun Conure), Zoe and Melina(Budgies), Leonardo- Bearded Dragon, Pilot and Phoenix(Golden Retrievers), Beckham(german shepard/akita), Myrtle and Richard(hermit crabs)

I dont understand why someone would pay 3-5 dollars per fish just to shove in a tiny container to die...I really hope that photo was just took while they are temporarily in that tank awaiting their 70 gallon getting setup....

Regardless of whether or not they were using that for temporary while their new tank was setup, it's inexcusable to have that many goldfish crammed in that tiny little tank where they have little room to move.

Here's a picture of my 0.8g beside the same bottle of fish food, for size comparison (mines goldfish pellets, not flakes but same size container). I would say this is a 0.5g tank.
