Exclamation Lucky bamboo

I have lucky bamboo and i wanted to put it in my 15 gall but its too tall :( so, i was wondering if i were to cut it to fit would it grow roots back?

Bamboo isn't an aquatic plant because the leaves die once they are submerged. I don't suggest having bamboo in tanks because of the leaves, but the stalk would be fine. You have to tear off any leaves that are under the water and let the rest of the bamboo stick out of the water and tank. If you want a plant that can be complete submerged in a tank look at the plant care thread. :)
