I believe that God is the ultimate scientist! That is why things work the way they do.

For me, science is a form of worship. I believe God has given us this great earth through a beautifully complex series of processes. Studying God's creation is my way of acknowledging his handiwork. I'm not a scientist, but I kind of study it as a hobby.
My interests are many and across the spectrum, maybe because I'm a philosophy major, but I just LOVE to learn about almost everything!

I do point out, the religous ones complaining about science - well if god existed, and left ALL this stuff unexplored, unmanned, unseen - why would he taunt us with it and then say "haha not allowed to learn :) "?

and MadameDesu, I like your opinion

You must know nothing in order to know all, for all is nothing and nothing is for all.

I do too! When I first realized that science and Christianity were compatible, my life became so much richer!

well it would be silly for there to be a god and him to dislike science although he "created it" o_O haha!

cool - I never knew that o_O most I've learned is muslim, because it wasn't forced on me, I do not have to convert, when you meet the right people it is very cool to learn and be around... Granted, any religion has the "bad" part, and I've known the bad parts and good parts instead of being one sided So that's the only one I have learned and have an understanding of haha

I don't believe that God doesn't want us to learn about science.

well I don't understand why he wouldn't If he wanted us to live like caged rabbits we wouldn't even have a world we'd have 200 square feet per person. :/
