Yummy Recipes

Sweet n Spicy Casserole

2 cups wagon wheel pasta (any pasta works I think...),
a package of ground beef (lean),
3 medium carrots,
and whatever amount of cheese you want .

You can also add onions, celery, or any other veggies to your liking.

:3 I boiled cut up carrots until they were soft, cooked the beef and boiled the pasta.

Sauce:

1/4 cup brown sugar,
2 tbsp soy sauce or worcestershire sauce,
1 tbsp cayenne chili pepper,
1 tbsp oregano,
a cup of ketchup,
2 tbsp vinegar,
1/2 cup water,
2 tbsp margarine or butter

Add all those ingredients together, and make sure to taste test and season how you want it! some like it sweeter, some like it hotter. Mine ended up more like: -bite- "mm swee- hot!"

Put pasta, ground beef, and carrots in a casserole dish. You can grate cheese between the meat and carrot, or whatever, to layer it (I did it). Then pour the sauce over top, Grate more cheese onto it, bake at 350 for 12-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and/or crispy, pull out and if you're like me...more cheese xD different kinds...marble, medium or old cheddar...etc...

Next time I want to add stuff like broccoli, onions, maybe even green peppers. Peppers will alter the taste, remember, and so will onions.

So what are your recipes? I do have another! Which I will post later on.

Yum. That's how I make my BBQ sauce.

I make a similar dish but instead of bbq I make a white cheese sauce and add buttered breadcrumbs to the top.

cool :p

Another one!!!

Spicy Chicken Rice Soup

3 bone-in chicken breasts, (can use whole chicken, pre-cooked though)
2 medium carrots
2 celery stalks
1 medium green bell pepper
1 medium onion
1 tbsp cayenne powder
1 tbsp chili powder
5-8 dashes Frank's Red Hot Sauce
1-2 tsp salt and pepper (seasoned to liking)
10 cups water (or chicken stock)
buillon (exclude or include if using stock

You can boil the chicken raw, or already cooked. This may take between 40-60 minutes depending. It took me 45, raw bone-in chicken breasts.

While the chicken is boiling, cut up carrots, celery, onion and pepper. Set aside in a bowl. When the chicken is done, let cool before pulling the meat off. (caution: contents of boiling water WILL be hot? )

If you are using water and buillon, boil water and add buillion. If using stock, heat on medium to high heat, and add vegetables. Put spices into a bowl, and add the chicken, turning until evenly coated. Add the chicken to the stock when carrots are tender. Let simmer over low heat, with the lid on.

Sure-fire (no pun intended) way to burn away those colds :)
