I recently "rescued" a betta, Blue, from my cousins (around 10 yo) that had it in a bowl w/plastic plants on a windowsill, unheated.
I convinced them to give it over to me and he's been doing great, fins have grown back and he's a beautiful fish. The thing is, with my many other tanks, I don't have the time to care for him long term, so I'm giving him up for adoption. I've done it before with great success, so here are my conditions:
1) PICK-UP ONLY - I live in the northern Virginia area. Please PM so we can coordinate a meeting place
2) I will ask for a $10 adoption fee - which includes the following;
- Betta
- Current habitat: Fluval Spec III in black + everything already inside it (duckweed, anubias, MTS snails, gravel, large moss ball and a gorgeous piece of mopani wood)
- Omega One Betta pellets
- A bottle of Prime
