I have found myself with way too many floating plants and I will be selling 4-5 sandwich sized bags of them. I have two tanks with a Salvinia Minima and Duckweed mixture and a tank with the same mixture with some riccia mixed in. I do have pest snails, so if you don't want pests you will need to treat the plants. I will take any snails I see off of the plants. The plants have great root structures and are perfect for low light tanks. In a low light tank, they will not multiply very much, but in a medium or high light, they will multiply quickly. They are also a good source of food for goldfish and some other fish. They will also dampen light to help with algae control as well (the pest snails are great for that too). The floaters plus pest snails have kept all the algae out of the tank, which I have had problems with in the past.
One sandwich bag portion shipped will be $5. Each additional Sandwich bag portion is $2. I will be shipping on Mondays and Tuesdays.
I still have a ton left. Monday is another shipping day. Once I get some of these floating plants out, I can start getting some java ferns ready for shipping.
I actually just sold off the majority of it last week, so I don't have enough for any portions right now. In another week or two I should have enough for another portion if you are still interested then.
Keep me posted too! I'm looking for Salvinia Minima or Duckweed for my 5.5g. I want to see if it will help my EE boy come out of his shell a little more and I love the look. Also wouldn't mind having some for my 20g.
I have one portion available for $3. It will be a little smaller than the other portions, but both of my tanks are covered and I don't want it to start stacking like before. I can do mostly duckweed, mostly Salvinia, or half and half.
I had someone contact me through pm, but they haven't answered in a week and I need it out because my other plants are getting no light, so if you want it, just send me your paypal email and I will send it tomorrow.
For just plants, it is $3, which includes shipping, because I just use bags, so it's really cheap. I have a few ramshorns, but they are fairly plain. I did find two with spots. I will have to see how much a priority box is if you would like the snails too.
I have one generous portion of mostly Salvinia Minima and one portion of mostly duckweed left. Duckweed is a great feeder food for goldfish and my mystery snails eat both floaters as well.
Hi, i know it's been a long time since you posted this, but are you still selling duckweed?
