Hey guys! I'm going to sell off my extra mystery babies ^^
From pea to nickel size

I have some beautiful pink babies but not many! There are only 13 of these pretty little gems. I'm looking to sell them for $1.50 -$2 each they are smaller than most of the purples though

On to the dark purple! I have 30 of them. And I'd like to sell them for 1$- $1.50 each

Shipping and payment info

Heat packs will be $2.50 to recover my loss on them and I'll need to check the prices on priority flat rate boxes with my post office.

PayPal payment only please unless we privately discuss a trade of some sort

Bump!

I won't have any more babies for quite a while my 2 current adult purple's are likely the same gender and I'm going to separate the two colors before they reach breeding age.

What would you Guys think of blue or black mystery snails? Or maybe green? I'm partial to the blue ^^

^^ I'm keeping an eye out for 5-6 of them

I'm going to need 3 tanks then to keep colors. I obviously 2 my community and guppy fry tank. I was thinking about doing some in my sorority but they used to pick at the adults so I'm not sure

Oh, my. My sorority used to LOVE snail eggs. It started with pest snails, then they launched themselves out of the water to get to my Mystery clutches. I lost one of my girls that way. She jumped out and cleared the lid, landed on the floor, and.. .Well, yeah. You get the idea. I guess it depends on your girls, but I wouldn't. ;)

Just tried 2 juvenile's x.x my vtpk girl decided to try and eat one NOPE!

The little photo bombers in the pictures are my juvenile EE girls these little ladies are so sweet I'm waiting for them to grow up to pick breeders ^^

The largest batch of blue's I can find is 4 :/

I breed my own but I got really lucky with yellow snails that had stripes (purple) and they turn into a beautiful rich magenta.

Purple snails with a dark foot are really just blacks though. There's a color list on yhe Internet and How to breed what to get what. Certain things are very dominant.

Here is a pic of clear shell base with purple stripes vs yellow shell base with purple stripes.

And according to that color chart these aren't supposed to exist. I haven't gotten this before, but I saw a really odd colored gold at petsmart and about half of what she laid had purple stripes show up a month or more in. It was very interesting. I have some babies in yhe other tank that I'm waiting to see what color they are.

Thanks fern ^^ and I've see solid blacks a few times, they kind of grey out as they age and even the bottom of the foot is dark. these are the dark and light ( pink) purple striped mystery snails even going off the chart

I'll have some really odd ones from f2 I'm guessing. I crossed ivory with the purple to get pink resulting in lots of purple(75%), a few pink(25%) and no ivory. I'm hoping to try something similar with blue and pink when I get the blue

Mix blue and pink and unfortunately I think you get a ton of black. I stay away from dark feet because I want the shell to really show. I saw the most beautiful chestnut shell in petco and unfortunately that's all it was- a dead empty shell :(

It's worth a shot ^^ I don't mind trying atleast one time. Do mystery's store sperm like guppies? o_O

Yes for 4 months which in a heated tank Is about 1/3 of their life. The genetics don't work like people where maybe a Caucasian parent and African American parent end up with kids whose skin tone is in between. It's like either/or. They have a tendency to go back to wild/black very easily and it's much harder to keep light foot tendencies in a uncontrolled breeding.

Olive and Red are some "weird " colors that are possible but people aren't quite sure how to get reliably. I know red sometimes pop up with chestnut and yellow pairings.

I read that if you give them a hibernation period they live much longer ^^ 2 months at 50°f? I don't have a wine cooler yet or I'd try it

It's 42 here but our winter isn't stable :/

My white one died yesterday and I am thinking of getting a new white one. I have never sold any because I just don't trust the pet stores. They all have dead or dying snails so something is up
And I suspect chemicals or copper filtration

I've still got all the dark purple ones And 8or9 pinks

#22 ·
Hey I might buy a purple clutch from you ^^ I'm thinking about adding fresh genes

I moved my snails into the 10 gallon because the cories need to go back with the other cories (too stressed) and I think I figured why I got yellow with purple stripes from the yellow mom-
The baby that is weird looking like her appears to be light yellow with darker yellow stripes. She is as really dark with a very dark spire. I got her at pet smart in a smaller town that takes good care of their mysteries. Anyway, even when I paid the cashier said how unique and pretty she was. I guess I got a yellow striped yellow? Anyway, keep your eyes out because sometimes stores get cool ones

Do you still have pink snails left? I would like to order a couple of each color.
