Loved though Unnamed
I adopted cjconcepcion's HMPK.
He arrived today in a delicate state --edgy and skittish.
I acclimatized him for an hour before transferring him to QT.
He seemed to be fine for a couple of hours, lounging on his myrio and his betta leaf hammock.
Then after dinner I noticed news on the bottom of the tank, gasping with very red gills.
I did a 50% water change, and added some black water from the driftwood that I had been boiling. I lowered the water level so it own led be easier for him to get air.
My friend, my Parents and I did Reiki on him and CJ and her boyfriend sent prayers from TX.
I nestled. Him on his betta hammock surrounded by his myrio so he could breather without having to swim. He squirmed away from it though, so I figured it was too stressful for him.
Unfortunately it seems his little body wasn't up to the stress of transport.
He passed away about 30 minutes ago and is buried in the begonia pot outside my front door.
May you come back as a cuddly kitten and live a long happy healthy life, little fish.
