Swim in peace Minerva...

Minerva died from starvation, I think. She wasn't eating and she was constipated. I thought I had this under control but I obviously did not. I wonder if I did something wrong? I had already put way too much water conditioner in before so maybe it was too late to help her in the first place? Whatever the reason, I am so sorry I didn't succeed in helping you get better, Minerva. What an awful way to go.

Hi guys, you've probably noticed I'm not on as much. The reason for that is the fact that I'm so much busier than I was last year. Also, I'm in the school play for once. (Squee!) So, I probably will be popping around everyone once in while anyway. But, until then- toodles!

I'm so sorry for your loss Happyhobbit. You can't blame yourself for her death. Fish get sick and sometimes even the best efforts cannot save them. It sounds like she had a good life with a very loving owner. Swim in Peace Minerva.

Aw sorry for your loss. There was probably nothing more you could have done. Last summer I dealt with a fish with very severe constipation for weeks and despite my best efforts, he couldn't clear the blockage, so I know what it's like. It's fairly hard to overdose water conditioner, by the way.

Sip Minerva.

Sorry for your loss. It can be very hard to find the right pancea to cure our fish since they can't tell us what's wrong.

Thank you for your sympathy. I think I will stick with just my one guy right now, because he has FIN ROT... AGAIN. my fault for skipping a daily water change.
