SIP Memín, may you roam on heavenly paddles
My first betta, Memín, has just passed away. He got bloated, started to stay at the bottom and I probably acted too late. Epsom salt bath was unsuccessful and this night I have seen him completely immobile even when I tried to pick him up. I dosed him with clove oil just in case.
He entered our home as a gift in a flower vase on march, we gave him an equipped 10 gal tank and he more than delivered, greeting us as we came home and swimming with his little flippers, staring at us and then giving us fun by chasing his live food and coming in and out of his house decor. I never imagined a fish could be this pleasant to have (and sad to say goodbye), and my respect and admiration for the entire fish group has risen because of this little betta.
Thanks for all your time and, wherever you are, I hope you are busy eating tasty bloodworms and flaring your gills to a gorgeous girl.
