This morning my little betta, Hope, died. I only got her four or five days ago. She was in a store tank with her sisters and about four 3 inch long gouramis. I had been looking for girls to quarantine for a 29 gallon I'm cycling, so I got the five of them. Since I got them, ones a bit lethargic, but otherwise fine, two are pale but active and friendly, and one is active enough, but is battling fin rot. And then there was Hope. Since she was put in the bag for the ride home, she wasn't acting right. Lethargic, non- responsive. I hadn't thought she would make the night let alone this long. I did what I could for her, but she didn't make it. I found her this morning, dead after an 8 hour power outage that luckily didn't take any more fish.
