Swim among the stars
My little Stella left me early this morning. I'm going to miss you little lady. Never before had I found a fish a fish like you. So many came into the rescue and took females that no one wanted because of meeting you and hearing your story. From a sick underweight little fish you grew into an amazingly beautiful girl.
I took the body you had left me behind to the vet. I was so scared that maybe you had something that the others could catch and wanted to know if I needed to start treating tanks. He told me the sudden swelling was because you were egg bound. He showed me an egg the size of a pin head. It was to big for you to pass. I know you tried to. But now you are swimming among the stars and trying to convince the angels that they need to hold their hands out just right so you can use them to take a nap. I'm always going to miss you.
This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple. The philosophy is kindness.
