She's gone . . . I couldn't watch her suffer so badly. This afternoon she had gotten worse, just laying on her side and barely moving. She was nearly white with paleness. She's the first sorority girl to die . . . I wouldn't wish dropsy on any living thing . . . . The Goldberry I knew was a beautiful golden yellow with a partial black mask over her nose and between her eyes. She was a snappy little thing who was the bubblenester of the sorority, and she was always eating the lion's share of food. The others will miss her, so will I. She is buried in the middle of a purple and yellow crocus patch.
She is the one on the bottom left.
