Sushi and Lucky

Sushi died sometime in the night. I think she had columnaris?

She came from walmart. I felt sorry for her so I took her home. Her tail was missing and she was kinda ugly.

But with some TLC she blossomed into a very pretty lady.

Lucky was also a sympathy purchase from walmart.
His first night, back in April

A few months later

he has a music video too Please watch

I wish I knew what, exactly, happened to her :(
One day she was fine, the next her upper lip was missing. Not sure if it was an injury or caused by another girl (although I don't think so) or if it was something biological like columnaris/cottom mouth. One day she had white stuff on her and the next it was gone.

Very sorry for your loss...she was a very pretty fish! In the first photo, I thought perhaps she was a new rescue and cringed thinking "No wonder she died! She looks awful!" but you really managed to turn her around and get her nice and healthy again! Makes me happy to know that someone cared enough to pick her up and give her a good life.

So sorry Tiki. Love his music video! Very sweet. You did the best you could and gave them good lives and that's great. Sorry for your loss, I hope you feel better.

LOL...She did look pretty bad. I couldnt look at her at first cause she creeped me out. She looked like 1/2 a body swimming around in her tank.
