The female is for sale on aquabid. I wonder when the babies will be ready...

I suppose everyone is gearing up for the next show?

Chard56 usually has some golds, most of his are red/golds right now though. There are two white females up for sale on aquabid:

http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/aucti...shm&1343037580

and a few white males, but this ones looks to be the least expensive if you aren't intending to breed. ^^:

My wishlist:
-duckweed- -black and white marble, anything but VT-
-javamoss- -koi marble, anything but VT)
-hatchable brine shrimp eggs-
-indian almond leaves-
-Melano Halfmoon male-
-steel blue or royal blue CT or HM female-

Yep, Im afraid to buy outside of the us, as this will be my first betta, and I dont want to kill 75 or 100 bucks. And I dont know how to trust the age of them?

I want it to live a long life and not die in a couple months etc. I dont know...

Thank you very much for those links, i like that bottom one.

Imports don't last as long as US bred ones. So I wouldn't get one of those unless you are planning on breeding. They usually die in less than a year.

Oie!

I like this one too but the red bow tie...lol http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/aucti...shm&1342979406

There was a red gold that was lovely too, but I didnt want red... but that one was gorgeous. The gold glow.

I think Ill just keep watching and waiting... or buy a ct from wally world tom o.O hahahaha. It took 3 months of research to talk myself into getting betta, and now im just chomping at the bit. I would raise them, but my space is limited now. And that culling, im not sure i have the stomach for it really.

I would enjoy the whole process, except for that. Im sure it would be fascinating to watch the spawn.
