Looking for: Shrimp and Plants :)

Hi everyone!

I have been looking all over the place for cherry shrimp and no one near me seems to sell them I know I could order them from Live Aquaria, but I am hesitant to do so; I'd much rather buy them from someone on here. Does anyone have any cherries (or other small, colored shrimp) they would be willing to send me? I would like perhaps 10 of them, to live in a planted 5 gallon tank with my lone female betta fish.

Also, I am looking for new plants :) The selection around these parts is limited. Floaters, root feeders, rosettes - I like them all. Would prefer not to buy anything that is super high maintenance, though. If anyone has cuttings to sell, I'd love some!

Thanks for reading!

I'm in the same boat as you right now. Cherry shrimp are hard to find in the states. Not sure why since they are so popular.

I know, it's so strange! The Petcos have ghost shrimp, which are nice, but they're kind of hard to see :/

I hear you there, I am almost to the point I'll settle for ghost shrimp if I can't find a place with cherry shrimp...you know other than buying 30 online with the hopes all 30 will arrive to me alive.

I know I have seen sellers on ebay sell cherry shrimp. I don't remember the cost but maybe you could take a look and see. They are super cute shrimp though. :)

Check craigslist, you can often find cherries for sale, if you are in a big city or something like that.

If not order them, since they do fine in the mail, however it is usually better to get them in person.
