Unhappy Um...

Hello everyone,

As you may, or may not have heard, today has been a very rough day for me. I have a really sick betta that I treasure very much and another betta that I had to give back to a friend... It's left me very heartbreaking as if a child was taken from me(not that I have children or am planning to any time soon >.<) I want to 'replace' him if you will as there is a big open space in the divided 10 gallon I have and Copper is looking a little depressed.. he doesn't have his buddy anymore. Betta's in my area never survive once bought due to how sick they always are and slightly deformed. The stores buy from an awful breeder I presume and then they don't care for them..

I know that you may hear ,or see, a lot of people " begging " for fish on here.
But if anyone would kindly allow me to give a betta a home that they may need to re-home or perhaps can't take care of anymore... I would be willing to take them under my wing... The only problem is that I have no way of sending money right now... I have all the proper caring necessities if anyone is worried about that...

Sorry for the sop story...

Sorry to hear :( Where are you located? That will be helpful if there's someone close to you that might have an extra fishy.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

If you were in Canada I have a lovely red marble dragonscale boy that I rescued from petsmart a couple of months ago who is now ready for adoption. His tail hasn't grown in fully yet though, he had fin rot almost down to his body.

It's too bad you don't live closer. I have a couple I would love to rehome (both Dragonscales). But, I'm not comfortable with shipping .

I am going to recommend you posting something on CL. You would be surprised how many people want to dump their Betta if you post on CL. It's really pretty sad, but on the bright side maybe you could give a needy little guy/gal in your neighborhood a home.

The mom of: Too many to list now.
