Hello, <<snip>> I am looking for a little friend! I used to have 3 betta fishes (all in separate 5 gallon tanks) and they all died at a pretty old age 6-8 years old and it was a bit sad to see my little friends go :(! And now I would like to be home to 1-5 betta fishes. The Bettas I adopt from u will live in a heated and filtered tank, the tank will be 5 a five gallon tank (yes I have 5 tanks one for each of them)Their water will be changed 100% 3-4 times a week and they will be fed properly! I promise a loving home for my betta friends, as to what kind of betta I want I will take ANY betta you may have that you would like to rehome! Please message me on this website.

Just as a side note, I don't think people looking to rehome their Bettas would want someone they don't know very well. You literally just got here. I don't know if our older members would feel comfortable with handing their pets to you as they don't know you. Post around, get to know us first. In the mean time you can always pick up a new fish from Petco if you're interested in rescue.

Actually a nice kind lady already contacted me to rehome her betta she's a beautiful opaque betta (half moon) in fact she is shipping her off today! And will provide me the tracking number! I will keep you guys updated on my new betta as she arrives! I will post photos (I might keep her name as Lucy like her original owner or might name her opaque) :)

You know, taking on 3 bettas at once is probably not the best idea, get a feel for one before jumping in. Also changing 100% of the water 3-4 times a week is unnecessary of the tank is filtered/cycled, even if it's not, unless the tank is tiny (in which case taking on a new fish isn't the best idea in the first place) than you should only need to do maximum 2 water changes a week, with only one being a full change, too many water changes are almost if not just as dangerous as too few.

All I'm saying is maybe make sure you know how to care for bettas before commenting on a lot of posts about bring to take in 3.

I've learned so much after being in this group for 1 and a half months! I've even started a mini betta rescue thanks to all the comments I've received! Thank you everyone, I appreciate criticism as it helps me learn to improve! Thank you ally and everyone who has helped I no longer want those Bettas as I've started a betta rescue and already have 6 cuties that are being cared for right now!
