Smile Congratz u guys have anothe newbie

Hi I cant wait to learn from u all I just got my first Betta about a 2 weeks ago and I adore him (his name is freddy ) Any suggestions for a Newbie I have a 2.5 Gallon tank, a filter, a heater, food, a silk plant, water conditioner ,and an cave

Thanks I kinda got mine out of a rescue my little brother (8) wanted to look at fish cause we were board he was all the way in the the back missing some scales n tail I don't really support petsmart but I couldn't pass up the little guy :) The tail is looking better but any idea if the scales will come back n when I have made sure the water is safe ik its hard to see from the pic but hes missing several on his head and one side of the body? Thanks :)
