Arrow Hello

Hello, everyone I'm fairly new to fish keep'in I just bought a betta a few days ago and then decided to look for info on my little friend and happened to stop here & I'm glad I did!

He lives in a filtered and heated 5 gallon tank for now, soon I'll be buying a couple guppies or snails that he can live with....does anyone have snail recomendations?

Hello and welcome to the forum

5 gallon tank = betta heaven :) As for snails, are you looking for large or small?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Welcome to the forum!
Be aware that snails do poop a lot, so you may need to clean your tank more often. Theyre even messier than fish.
They also, IME, need to be removed from the tank to eat because your betta will try to eat their food >.<

I dont know anything about guppies or small fish like that.
You could also try ghost shrimp, but theres a chance he will eat them. Some bettas eat them, some dont.

Thanks ya'll for the greetings!

Romad: I'm looking for the smaller types.
