Good Afternoon from New Brunswick, Canada

Hi! I'm a fairly new member here who discovered the site when looking into rekindling my relationship with fish. I've had many fish before, with relative success, and amongst those fish were a number of bettas I have been proud to call my own, and have been sad to part with in their time.
Recently, I went out on a search to our local pet shops, and after finding a stunning crown tail, another caught my eye. And so, I brought Timaeus, a delta with very unique colors home. His ventral fins tip off in a bright blue, and in the right light, he flashes beautiful blues and greens. He's currently being housed in a large one gallon bowl with a plant of unknown name, and I hope to upgrade him to something a little more luxurious in the near future.
I'm finding my time here very enjoyable, and I think I'll be sticking around for the wonderful advice and conversation I've seen thus far.

Thanks! I'm surprised to see you own gerbils, as well. They make great pets, too. {I have eight at the moment.}

That's a great name! I had a few goldfish named for famous generals in the Second World War. ex: Ike for Eisenhower, Ambrosio for Vittorio Ambrosio, so on so forth. It wasn't my idea, but it stuck like glue.
