Hello and welcome! Bettas are incredible fish to keep. I am willing to bet they were probably already sick when you got them from the petstore. I have gotten two from the petstore and fortunately one lived for two years and the other I have had for a week now. Always pick one that seems alert and shows no sign of disease. Or go to a breeder.

Once you get one that lives awhile you will be addicted. What kind of betta do you want to get? If you have any questions just ask. I have learned so much since joining and everyone here is so helpful.

VT Male Nemo is in fishie heaven R.I.P.
CT Male Splash is our newest addition. Welcome home!

Finally got some pics!

Introducing: Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles... the baby betta, 12 weeks old does not have a name yet, any suggestions?

Thanks for the warm welcome! Hopefully this little dude will be with me for many years to come :)
