Talking Newbie

Well, well, well, I never thought I would actually be joining a forum website, but here I am!! Writing my first thread. Well so facts about me: I am a 14 year old girl Canadian living in Alberta and BC, I started fish keeping about 2 years ago, as of right now I only have 1 betta :( but my local petstore is ordering in HALF-MOONS!!!!!!!!!! I so cannot wait till they get in!! My only betta as of right now is a dark blue crown-tail male betta. he is about I'd say 2 years old (can't totally remember, have had him for awhile) I would enter a picture, but not totally sure.

Since I am getting a new betta (so I will have two betta's) I am planning on getting the top fin 5.5 gallon starter kit ( and getting acyrlic glass and making a divider!! I am hoping this will turn out, (there will be holes in the acyrlic) and I will have about 2 snails per side. So if you thimk this is a good idea, or if you would like to even just leave a reply. do so!!

Welcome to the forum, Mini! Glad to have you and Angel (I assume that's your CT name, as it is in your signature?) here with us! I would love to see pictures of your betta and his tank. I always enjoy seeing everyones fishies! I love halfmoons and that will be an exciting addition for you. Sound like you've been bit by the betta bug. There is lots of good information here on tanks and dividing them, so learn as much as you can!

My lovely bettas are: Dagger, Egg, Salsa, Marble, Augustus, Miles
Puddles, Oz, Nate, Monkey, Picasso, Feng, and Maui
