Hey, hello, hi!

Hi everyone! I thought it was finally time to properly introduce myself, since I've already asked for help and have been lurking around for a little while.

I had 2 betta fish in college, but neither lasted very long. When my boyfriend announced he was starting up his 35 gallon community tank I decided it would be nice to have a fish for my desk at work. After getting Mason, a marble VT male, I began to do some research into bettas and realized exactly how little I knew! That led me here.

Let's see...about me...I love reading and I enjoy writing, but horses and horseback riding are my passion. I live in Michigan, but grew up in Pennsylvania. I currently have 3 cats, lease a horse, and have 2 bettas. Mason, mentioned above, was my first purchase just over a month ago. Harley, my red VT male, was just purchased on a whim last Thursday. I was at Petco and saw him struggling to swim despite being bloated. Since I knew no one else would take him he came home with me!

That's about it...I'm glad to meet you all.

Proud parent of 3 cats (Aiko, Sandy, and Sasha), 2 bettas (Mason and Harley), and one horse (Rico)!

It's nice to meet you! :D

Your bettas look amazing, I'm sure you'll get much helpful information here! I know I have. ^.^

Reading and writing is awesome! :) I enjoy those myself.

Your cats and horse must be great. I know I love those animals, too. <3 ~

Well, anyway, welcome to the site! It's great to meet you! (:)

Hello and welcome to you, Mason, and Harley

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
