Tacoma, Washington or Seattle breeders?

I'm new to this forum and to breeding betta.

I currently live in Puyallup, WA (close to Seattle, closer to Tacoma) and would love to link up with some local breeders for tips/community and to possibly buy some of your stock. Unfortunately there are not any good local fish stores around here that I have found.

I'm even open to meeting with local betta keepers just to share betta stories or to encourage each other in all of our betta endeavors.

So... Washingtonian betta lovers: speak up! :)

I'm a Seattle buyer looking for breeders

I just moved and will be setting up a new tank in the next few months and I'm looking for local breeders. I'm interested in a half moon, especially mustard gas, though they seem to be difficult to find in the US. I would love a purple mustard gas half moon betta.

Look at that! A local breeder :)

I don't have any mustard gas yet... I'm most fascinated by the solid colors and HMPKs

:) Yay local breeders

I'll message you when I'm closer to setting up my tank. I may also rescue a betta if there's one not looking so good at one of the pet stores.

I am in Covington. I have five males: Moonshine, Inferno, (The) Dread Pirate Roberts, Ronin, and Flynn. I just stocked my sorority last weekend: my husband named them after mlp characters and I'm embarassed lol. I'm not interested in breeding, though. I would want to keep every last fish and I doubt I could cull. Also most of my male fishes are from the petsomethings, most likely they aren't of breeding quality.

There is a really nice live fish store in Edmonds that has locally bred bettas. They're called aqaurium co-op. It's a long drive, but it was so cool to be in a fish store where they were actually cleaning the tanks and correctly answered questions.
