Lurker from berkeley, CA!

I've been lurking around here for a bit as I started a 5G betta tank of my side of the world :) I decided to sign up and join this nice and lovely community :)

Here is my four ray crowntail

and the tank he is in!

One quick question if anyone has an answer to.. I've read that its normal for betta to become slightly bloated after eating, and was wondering if that was true. Mine doesn't become as bloated as what a quick google image would show, but does become noticeably round in the stomach area after feedings!

Very nice, welcome to the forum!

Bloated is not normal, but softly rounded is :).

Hey thanks for the response! Did you see my betta in the first picture? His stomach there is what I meant by slightly bloated :p It becomes a lighter color compared to the rest of the body which is why I was worried, but if its just rounded then it must be fine eh! :)
